At its core, the Give Clean Project is about repurposing factory seconds, products that, while fully functional, don’t meet the stringent quality standards for retail. Instead of letting these excess products go to waste, Functional Botanicals sees an opportunity to make a difference.
The company donates these products to vulnerable communities, providing essential hygiene items like Essential Wipes, Luna Wipes, and Essential Wipes Plus on a monthly basis.
Who Benefits?
The recipients of these donations vary widely, reflecting the diverse needs across communities. To date, Functional Botanicals has worked with local firefighters, food banks, women’s shelters, and other community-based organizations.
The project extends even further, reaching out to populations such as the homeless, refugees, victims of natural disasters, and communities facing systemic oppression and poverty.
With the help of partners like the Ashland High School Peace Club, the Give Clean Project will distribute over 5,000 wipes this holiday season alone, impacting countless lives.
