HOW MUCH WASTE?

According to a survey by Scandic Hotels Group, linens are replaced around every five stays. A 200-room hotel with 60% average occupancy would spend an average of $210 a week on replacement linens at $5 per unit.

This would total to around $10,920 Per Year.

In a hotel that operates at 60% occupancy with 400 rooms, you are looking at 5,824 gallons of water per week saved or one ton of laundry.

This is about 52 tons of laundry per year saved in laundry costs.
